Early on in our fishtank endeavor we rescued a tiny plecostomus without knowing how big they get.
It's now a large fish and it can't stay in our 35 gallon tank any longer without it being cruel.
Does anyone know where I can donate it or give it away to a good home?

Sometimes a pet store might take big plecos. People that have ponds like them.

Thanks for the response. So they can survive in ponds around here? Is there a concern for invasive species or any issues with releasing them in local water?
