About HAAS KC

Welcome to the Heart of America Aquarium Society of Kansas City! Founded in 1950, our organization brings together fishkeepers of all experience levels to share knowledge and build community.

We host monthly meetings every second Saturday with guest speakers, a Themed Bowl Show, and a Mini Auction. Meetings are open to the public—everyone is welcome!

Our BAP (Breeders Awards Program) and HAP (Horticulturalist Award Program) are great ways to deepen your aquatic skills. Don’t miss our Spring & Fall Auctions and seasonal swaps—free to attend and full of treasures!
