Kind of an odd one.

First off, I’m looking for plants. Java moss, guppy grass, hornwort, anacharis, Anubias, anything. I have low light set ups, I have a co2 high light set up. I’m looking to stock them.

Im also looking for Cherry shri be or any shrimp). I’m tempted to buy them off aquabid, I can buy 60 for $77, but thought I’d try local first.

Im looking for platys. I have a bunch of blue Mickey Mouse, but I’m looking to mix them.

I’m looking for cories out the wazoo. I have a 120 gallon with sand and not much else to stock.

Im looking for anything else community wise that won’t eat shrimp much. Tetras etc. This is a “smallest + most fish” set up for my son and I to enjoy.

I’m looking for any pairs of anything I can care for and breed within 20 gallon tanks. Jewels, kribs, etc.

Aquariums have been a hobby of mine for the last 16 years. My son has recently taken a huge interest in them and I’m looking to feed into that interest. Caring for fish and an interest in the natural world are things I’m imprinting on him as much as he will allow me.

I work in NKC, I live in Platte City. Work is flexible.

let me know what you’ve got and what the price is!

I live in mission, Kansas. I’m pretty sure I have more than 15. Would need to recount. I would say about $6 each

I have some of the plants that I could give you starts of. I have some different cories, lots of green breeders and young. $5 or less for volume buy. I am wanting to empty the tank. I have some adult albino cories $5 ea.  I have Venezuelan red sailfin cories. $8 ea. I have some Smudge Spot Cory Catfish (Corydoras similis), also known as the Violet Cory Catfish $10 ea. I am not sure how many I have. I have some cherry shrimp $4 ea. I suspect I might have other things you might be interested in. I have 45 tanks of fish.  Contact me at mofunnyfarm@gmail.com or

@mofunnyfarm I could use some cull shrimp if you have any. I use them as a clean-up crew in my turtle tank. That way if some are not too bright and get eaten it's no big deal. I have used them it the past and had a thriving colony going last spring but after being ignored all summer while the turtle was outside the colony died off. It is amazing how they go back to clear when you add predation on the colored shrimp, natural selection is cool. Sorry for including science on this website. 😊

@jcurts I could give you some to get a colony started. I have a tank I need to thin out.

@daffyfish Good to see you’re still around Daphne! I believe I picked up Angelfish the last time I met up with you, but I was afraid you’d fallen out of the hobby. (It’s Tyler from NKC - used to have discus etc)

I do like Kribs, I’m not sure about where they’d fall in my tiny fish room…

@mofunnyfarm Walter, I may very well be interested in some violet cories - are they breeding size?

you always have something! Last time I got anything from you I think I came for some killies and left with a bunch of stuff…

@daffyfish I’ve always had a couple tanks… just in an out of the hobby.

I can’t remember the last time I didn’t have a some kind of native sunfish in a tank and my marbled crayfish colony I got from monster fish Rodger over in Gladstone though… it’s been probably 10 or so years since my last real hiatus

I think I’m back to stay though - I have kids now that have gotten old enough that they’re interested in everything.. I can spend an hour+ a day in my fish room, and I only have 8 tanks right now..
