We have a great meeting coming up with Jan Olson talking about apistogrammas this month. The following month August 12th we will have our Summer Swap. The spring swap was a great event and this should be just as good. We were close to the max number of tables for the last event. If you had a table at that event please let me know asap if you want tables for the Summer swap. I will send email but don’t have email addresses for everyone. Want to give everyone that got table at the last event first chance to sign up then will open it up for anyone else at the meeting this Saturday. While we can’t take requests for specific tables let me know if you would like the same spot you had last time and we will try to make it work. Also let me know if same number of tables or different. Email swap@kcfishclub.org.

Hi _ I'd like to serve a table. If you could put it under JH Aquatics and Fish Mama

Thanks!

If you are interested in getting a table for the Summer Swap on August 12th please let us know ASAP. We generally have room for about 45 tables and already have 35 spoken for. Email swap@kcfishclub.org or use the link in emails that have gone out. Cost is same as in the past $15 for one table or $25 for two for members. Non-members $20 for one table $35 for two. Swap is free to attend. Set up will start at 9:30 with swap starting at 11am and going until 2pm. Hope to see you there.

Anyone want to share a table? I’ll probably only have a few items.

@alatham Did you still want to split a table or did you find some one to split with already?

Looking forward to our best swap ever in just a few days, this Saturday 8/12 at 11am. We are no longer accepting table request due to having a full layout. We have 31 sellers register with a total of 46 tables. Should be a great selection and a great chance to talk to different breeders from throughout the area.

We are also doing something a little different at this event, we will have door prizes of swap dollars you can spend at the event but also doing a door prize drawing just for kids 15 and under which will be a fluvial flex 9 gallon aquarium set up. So bring the kids. You must be present to win and drawing will take place around 12:30pm.

Swap is at normal location, please enter through the side parking lot door. In order to allow venders to get set up we will open right at 11am.

Look forward to seeing everyone there.

Here is the current layout for the swap. We have 46 tables spoken for! That is a great turnout and there should be plenty of cool fish for everyone to enjoy! Below is a pdf and jpg version of the layout.

We will be setting up for the swap Friday night from 6pm to 8pm. The more help we can get the better for every one. We have a lot of tables to set up!

Thanks to all of the seller and buyer who came out yesterday. I think we had a very successful swap. Hope to see you all in September for our regular monthly meeting. Josh Cunningham has had to cancel but our own Julian G. is going to fill in with a wabi kusa workshop, or an aquascaping class.

I got a table at the swap and it was a huge succes for me. Just wanted to thank all of you who worked to organize and make these events happen. I always have a blast! I love this hobby and am so glad to have found club to participate in, even if its 2 hours away 😆 Anywho, thank you!

Did anyone pick up any cool fish, decor, plants or tanks? I got some of Andrew Higley's cool blue shrimp. Super nice! My frozen blood worms melted all over. That was a dumb investment on my part. Live and learn!!!
