I’ve sold hundreds of them locally here to hobbyist breeders. Hopefully someone who has some will see this here and hook you up. Great species!
Thanks Jan! I imagine folks appreciate your helping propagate the species in our hobby community. From everything I'm reading, Amatitlania Nanolutea seem like they would do really well in a planted 40 breeder with plenty of caves. Glenn
I started out with 8 juvies in a 40 Breeder. Once I got a spawning pair. I moved the remaining adult fish on to other hobbyists. Eventually I moved the pair into a 20 long where they produced several more successful broods. They dig quite a bit, so rooting plants don’t do real well. Since most of my tanks have driftwood with Java ferns, bolbitis or moss attached it worked out great. If you can’t find any locally, I saw them on the Wet Spot list. Good luck!
By coincidence, I have a large piece of Malaysian driftwood in the new 40 with a few java ferns already taking root. I also have Hornwort and some Frogbit in the tank I picked up at last years HAAS auction. I also went with black sand for this particular tank since I understand they like to dig. I'm still looking for some rock, maybe black river slate or other dark/smooth rock. If I don't hear from anyone in the club that has some juvies to sell in the coming weeks, I'll check out Wet Spot. I did watch a video tour of their warehouse recently on YT that was pretty cool. Huge operation.
Hey folks, hope everyone is having a good week. Just bumping the thread here since I'm still on the look out for some Amatitlania Nanolutea / Yellow Convict Cichlids. Thanks!!
Glenn
Thanks EthaoThao! Yea, I'm interested in the 4 adults and sent you a PM. Glenn
Sounds good, i will bring them to to swap for you and i also sent you a DM.
Just registered to bring Yellow Convict Cichlid juveniles to the October auction. I'll be bringing a few solo females as well. It's been a lot of fun watching the fry grow :).

Turns out I missed the seller registration window so will be looking for other opportunities to find new homes for the juveniles. Not sure yet but may just post in the appropriate forum here.
