How many of the Limi Livebearers and congo tetras will you be bringing? Are they fish that you have bred and raised? I have a new large cube setup and have plans to stock fish in it by the dozens. Thanks

We are looking for orange/gold lazer catfish.
I know there will be some nice cories available, but not likely any orange lazers. Ray Lazono is working with Orange lazers and has a super nice group he is working with, but no eggs yet. The way he takes care of his fish, it's only a matter of time!!

Thank You
Thanks to everyone that made our swap such a great success!!! Tim, thank you so much for finding the new venue. Than you Jeff for gathering up all the donations and dry goods and making multiple trips to deliver all of the goodies. Thank you Steve for helping Jeff get his stuff to the event! Thanks Carla and Harold for keeping everyone happy from Start to Finish. From setup to teardown, directing traffic and keeping all of our patrons informed on what we were doing. Which isn't easy when we don't know what we are doing!!! Thank you Julian for helping on the advertising and promoting of our event. Your hard work in creating fliers and going over all of the Facebook and band groups helps get the word out!. Thank you so much to all of our donors and supports of the club. without you, this club would be difficult to keep going. Many thanks to all the sellers with their patience and support getting thru the event. We learned a lot and our next even will be even better! Thanks to everyone that assisted in setup and cleanup (Randy, Jeff, Walter, Harold, Julian, Tim, Steve and I am sure a few folks I am forgetting). I especially want to thank everyone that showed up with hardly any notice. This was a very successful swap at a lot of different levels. We had tons of attendees, lots of old members came back to see us which was fantastic! And everything went really smoothly considering we haven't done anything for a long while. There was tons of new people, too. It was a big win all the way around!

Congrats to the Winners!
Congrats to all of the winners of our raffles and our auctions. I know I learned we need to improve our closeout process for auctions next time.

Feedback
Feel free to comment what you liked about the new Church, any of the new things we tried, anything you'd like to try differently,. Both positive and negative.. You can comment on this thread or email me directly at michael@meyer.net. We won't take offence to anything, we just want to keep doing this better each and every time we hold our big events.

What's Next?
We will continue meeting at the old church for at least July and August. In September, we are having next auction!!!! On 9/11/2021 at Noon at this same (big venue) Church we will have the first post pandemic auction!!! I already have the event listed on www.MyGroupAuctions.com. Feel free to start listing your items for sale! I'll do a little demo at our next meeting (or two) to make sure everyone is comfortable using the website.

Other News
Jan Olson from Lake Lotawana , MO has volunteered to perform the duties of Secretary for our club! I really appreciate Jan stepping up for the club. I am really excited about all these positive things happening for the club. We now can focus on getting some good programs established for our club meetings! Feel free to send me suggestions on what you'd like to talk about. Again email me at michael@meyer.net.

Next meeting is July 10, 2021. Hope to see lots of folks there!

Mike
