Never done CO2 before but thinking about giving it a try. Any thoughts on where to get tank locally. I live on north side.

New to the group here. Recently broke down my tank. I have a praxair 5lb CO2 tank with probably 3 lbs of gas left if you want to pawn it off me. I also have a bunch of other stuff...CO2 regulator with solenoid, tubing, etc. I'm near Zona Rosa.

I have plants that could use the co2 injection.

I bought a busted up 5lb used tank off a welder off Craigslist. Traded it in for $25 at praxair. That’s always an option. People on Reddit/plantedtank sell regulator set ups, boom all good for a couple hundrwd

I have a couple old co2 tanks from soda machines, do they need to be hydro tested before they trade them or does it matter?
