Today’s clippings! Lots of plants for such little tanks.

I feel like I should also add that my tanks have “healthy” little ecosystems - copepods, seed shrimp, detritus worms, rhabdocele worms, various types of snails, limpets, hydra, and a light smattering of algae…. Just for people who may not want that!

Pardon me if this isn’t the appropriate forum for this discussion but I was wondering:

Since switching to dirted tanks, my plants’ health has increased dramatically and I’m now trimming back plants (especially my salvinia minima, red root floaters, and hornwort!) about every other week. A first for me!

I *hate* throwing them away so I was wondering if there’s a way I can take them to the monthly meetings. I’d love to sell or swap and even just donate them if that’s an option. I just don’t want to break any rules by bringing stuff. Also, are there rules as to what kind of containers they come in? I saw rules for fish.

It may have to wait a while though, currently 36 weeks pregnant so we will be recuperating and adjusting for a chunk of the next year after baby comes! Unless someone wants to come by and grab them to take to meetings or setup a personal transaction until I can participate again.
