FORUM RULES & REGULATIONS
We have put together a few rules and regulations for users to follow when participating in our website and forum. We ask that you read and respect these guidelines.
By accessing the “Heart of America Aquarium Society of Kansas City” website (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “KCFishClub.org”, “
www.kcfishclub.org”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use “KCFishClub.org”. We may change these at any time and we’ll do our utmost in informing you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of “KCFishClub.org” after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.
• Please respect other users on this forum. We are all here because we share a common interest in furthering the aquarium hobby.
• Personal attacks will not be tolerated.
• Obscene language and/or images will not be allowed. Let’s keep this PG folks.
• Messages that are obscene, vulgar, discriminating in nature, threatening, or otherwise violate any laws are not allowed.
• Spamming or other unsolicited message activity is not allowed.
• Please stay on topic in threads. Thread hijacking is not allowed, and will not be tolerated.
• Do not post copyrighted material or photos without expressed consent from the owner. If you reference copyrighted material, please provide a link or reference.
• Solicitation for goods or services for sale or trade need to be posted in the classified ads section.
• Operating multiple accounts to bypass admin imposed restrictions will result in an immediate and permanent ban. Your IP address is logged both when you register and when you post.
• The Heart of America Aquarium Society of Kansas City assumes no responsibility and shall be indemnified from any and all liability arising from any forum member’s actions or posts.
• The Heart of America Aquarium Society of Kansas City reserves the right to edit, modify, remove, move, or close any thread for any or no reason.
• Quarrels or disagreements shall not take place on the forum, but rather in private via PM or email. If a situation cannot be resolved amicably, it is suggested that the Webmaster be contacted to facilitate a favorable solution for all parties involved.
• Users can use the “Report to Moderator” button at the bottom of a post to report an issue to the forum moderators. Please give a detailed description of your issue with the post including the parties involved so that the moderators may attempt to resolve the issue.
• Violation of any of these rules and/or regulations will result in disciplinary action, including, but not limited to the following:
o 1st Offense: Warning
o 2nd Offense: 30 Day Suspension
o 3rd Offense: Permanent Suspension & Ban
• At any time, the administrators may, depending upon the severity of the offense, act to permanently ban any user or users without warning.
• These rules and regulations may be modified at any time without notice.
